The Need for Insight

Blue Stone extends the functionality of Hyperion Strategic Finance by using Oracle’s Hyperion Essbase for reporting.  Our services include designing and building cubes, mapping/moving the data from Hyperion Strategic Finance to Essbase, and building reports.  This improves reporting in several ways.  First, it increases the amount of Business Intelligence tools that customers can use to display HSF data.  Customers can use Excel as well as the entire suite of Oracle Business Intelligence products.  In addition, it makes critical HSF data available to people who aren’t HSF users, expanding the number of people who can benefit from seeing HSF results.  Finally, it allows users to combine HSF data with other data within the enterprise, allowing users to see results from the strategic plan on the same report as results from the operational plan or the ERP system.
